We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradesmen on various residential and commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the construction industry while supporting day-to-day site operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cleaning job sites before, during, and after construction.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Support skilled workers such as masons, carpenters, painters, and waterproofing technicians.
- Mix, pour, and transport concrete, mortar, or other materials as directed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety standards at all times.
- Help with setup and dismantling of scaffolding, barriers, and other temporary structures.
Requirements:
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow directions closely.
- Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
