Job Summary (Server Admin/Desktop Management)
- Position: Server Administrator/Desktop Management
- Location: 3275 Bennett Creek Avenue, Frederick, MD (Onsite)
- Duration: 5 months
- Experience Required: 8-10 years
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Level 2 (L2) troubleshooting for server and desktop issues
- Manage and execute server and endpoint patching (On-Prem and Azure)
- Administer and maintain Active Directory (user account management, group policies, security settings)
- Oversee Office 365 administration (user management, license allocation, troubleshooting)
- Monitor server and endpoint performance and health (CPU, memory utilization)
- Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Work collaboratively with IT team members to support overall IT infrastructure and projects
- Manage software licenses and mobile device management (MDM)
- Administer VMware environments
- Utilize patching tools such as SCCM and QUALYS
Required Skills
- Strong technical expertise in server patching, Active Directory, Office 365, VMware, and backup/storage processes
- Proficient in using patching tools (SCCM, QUALYS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Summary
The Server Administrator/Desktop Management professional will be responsible for L2 troubleshooting, server patching, Active Directory & Office 365 administration, system monitoring, backup and recovery, VMware administration, license management, and maintaining documentation, while collaborating with IT teams to support infrastructure and projects in a fast-paced environment.
