Job Summary
Sr. Process Metallurgist-Full time-Direct Hire- Sr. Process metallurgist (Aerospace/Metallurgy) is needed for a client near the New Castle/Butler, PA area. Full time direct hire role. Candidate must have experience working as a Metallurgist/Materials Engineer from the Aerospace industry currently or recent experience. Base salary $120 K- $143,500 K depending upon experience + relocation assistance+ benefits, 401 K and a great work culture.

Responsibilities
- Oversees the investigation and disposition of non-conforming material (NCMs).
- Instructs the Sales department by providing technical guidance and creation/revision of E-grades and remelt profiles to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for developing and leading quality training for EQS employees.
- Reviews production schedule and processing records to ensure that Operations follows procedures and sound metallurgical practices.
- Travel (local, national and international) as needed to different facilities, conferences or customers
The Essential Functions Of This Role Include
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- standing for 4 hours at one time
Qualifications
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors (required)
skills:
- Metallurgy (2 years of experience is required)
- Alloys/Super Alloys (2 years of experience is required)
- FE,NI,TI,AL,CU and CO alloys (2 years of experience is preferred)
