In this project, you’ll join a team building a next-generation healthcare logistics and workflow platform designed to streamline patient orders, medical equipment routing, provider coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large, multi-workstream healthcare technology program involving product, engineering, compliance, and business operations teams. This role requires strong delivery leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones (U.S., Asia).
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in managing complex software projects in the healthcare or medical supply chain domain, and is comfortable executing within environments requiring regulatory compliance, structured delivery practices, and strong stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Own the program schedule, delivery milestones, and execution roadmap across all product modules and engineering teams.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly delivery activities across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking dependencies, risks, and integration points.
- Ensure all deliverables meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements, including healthcare compliance expectations.
- Drive structured execution to ensure predictability and operational transparency at all times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between onshore leadership, offshore engineering teams, product owners, QA, security, and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate directly with offshore teams (India, Armenia) to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely execution across time zones.
- Support Product Owners and Business Analysts in requirements clarification and change management.
Communication & Reporting
- Lead executive-level reporting on progress, timelines, risks, mitigations, and next steps.
- Prepare and maintain delivery dashboards, burn-down reports, status updates, and risk/issue logs.
- Communicate changes in scope, schedule, or objectives promptly and transparently.
- Support compliance teams with documentation, process adherence, and evidence collection where required.
- Maintain structured record-keeping (Confluence, Jira, document repositories).
Product Quality & Delivery Support
- Participate in feature reviews to validate that implemented functionality aligns with healthcare requirements, standards, and expectations.
- Support UAT by validating healthcare workflows, test scenarios, and data handling rules.
- Identify healthcare-related risks early (clinical accuracy, compliance gaps, workflow issues).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager in software delivery.
- Healthcare or medical industry experience is required (clinical workflows, DME, HHA, medical logistics, payer-provider interactions, or HIPAA-regulated environments).
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-module software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with offshore engineering teams.
- Strong command of project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Gantt charts, dashboards).
- Exceptional communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across product, engineering, QA, compliance, and operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to operate under pressure and maintain clarity in fast-moving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with workflow-driven systems, logistics/operations platforms, or enterprise healthcare software.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI handling, SOC 2, or HITRUST-aligned delivery processes.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Prince2, or similar certifications.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, cloud environments, or modern API-driven architectures.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related field.
- Product certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM) are a plus.
Salary Range
US $100,000– 130,000 annual base, depending on experience, plus benefits and potential performance bonus.
The role is structured as a three-month contract-to-hire arrangement, with the possibility of earlier conversion to full-time employment based on demonstrated impact, collaboration, and delivery.
