GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for consumers arriving at Restoration Center facilities. Serves as a first responder to any code blue designated areas or areas of medical necessity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists professional staff in providing diagnostic and therapeutic care.
- Complies with and participates in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement processes, and with required contractual and Center policies and procedure.
- Provides assistance in daily hygiene of clients and beds.
- Provides case management and consultation with Restoration programs to ensure good communication and transition of clients between programs.
- Provides motivational interviewing and recovery engagement strategies with consumers.
- Provides supervision/monitoring of consumers to promote safe and sober environment.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High School or GED equivalency, 6 months of post-high school training and one (1) year of experience as an EMT.
Licenses or Certifications
- EMT Certification
- CPR Certification
- Current/valid driver’s license
