Role and Responsibilities:
- Assess damage caused by water, fire, mold, and other disasters, and develop effective restoration plans.
- Lead a team of technicians and oversee all aspects of disaster restoration projects from start to finish.
- Provide technical expertise in the safe and efficient operation of restoration equipment and tools.
- Communicate with clients and management to ensure proper understanding of project scope and progress.
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate safety measures.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to deliver exceptional results within established parameters.
- Train and mentor technicians on restoration techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records, including project documentation, equipment inventory, and job progress reports.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies to continually improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills in operating restoration equipment, such as air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors, and thermal imaging cameras.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy equipment as required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- IICRC certifications (Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Mold Remediation, etc.) preferred.
- Asbestos abatement certification, lead certification, or similar preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and structural drying preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
