Overview:
Lead end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations for a fast-paced automotive parts manufacturing plant. Drive inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and supplier collaboration to ensure just-in-time delivery and cost efficiency. Manage international freight and 3PL partnerships while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute logistics strategies aligned with production schedules and supply chain goals.
- Oversee warehouse operations, implementing WMS and automation tools to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage transportation, customs clearance, and compliance to meet on-time delivery targets.
- Analyze logistics spend and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing logistics, preferably automotive.
- Proficient in SAP, TMS, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with international shipping, customs regulations, and automotive logistics standards.
- Bilingual skills (English plus Spanish or Mandarin) preferred.
