This is an exciting opportunity under the Infrastructure and Operations division in the Information Technology Department (ITD). The Infrastructure and Operations division designs and engineers solutions that address and meet the City’s strategies built around Smart City initiatives, such as Digital Inclusion and Digital Equity, Public Wi-Fi expansion for Economic development, Endpoint Modernization and virtualization, Multi-cloud frameworks, and digital analytics to support Data driven decisions. The infrastructure division includes citywide wired and wireless network infrastructure, core server infrastructure, Hyperconverged infrastructure, modern endpoint services, public and private cloud infrastructure, and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). The city seeks motivated engineering-level candidates who are energized by opportunities to maximize their potential by learning new technologies, designing and implementing solutions, and fulfilling smart city initiatives.
