Associate Project Manager – Retail Site Launches

Overview
We’re seeking an organized and proactive
Associate Project Manager to support the rollout of new retail locations across North America and other global markets. This individual will play a key role in coordinating timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to bring new stores, pop-ups, and renovation projects to life.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, can balance multiple priorities, and brings a structured yet flexible approach to managing project milestones, vendor relationships, and communication across diverse stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking all aspects of new store openings and refresh projects from approval through completion.
- Build and maintain project schedules, budgets, and tracking tools to monitor progress, financial performance, and upcoming milestones.
- Partner with internal teams across operations, design, construction, and supply chain to ensure projects stay aligned with business objectives and brand standards.
- Support vendor coordination — including onboarding, documentation, and invoicing — to ensure seamless collaboration and timely deliverables.
- Oversee project reporting, status updates, and dashboards to communicate progress and flag potential risks or issues early.
- Identify process improvements and contribute creative ideas to enhance rollout speed, cost efficiency, and overall project quality.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in project management, retail expansion, or construction coordination.
- Skilled in organizing complex projects, managing multiple workstreams, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Confident working with budgets, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
- Proficient in project management software and ERP tools (Workday, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Able to travel as required to support site launches or vendor meetings.
Contract Details
- Duration: 6-month contract role
- Work Model: Onsite in Chicago
- Compensation: $40-$55/Hour
