Job Overview:
Attention: Training for this position will be held in Rolla/Salem Missouri.
We are seeking an Estimator Apprentice to join our team. As an Estimator Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in our restoration projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties:
- The Restoration Estimating Apprentice will work with Senior Estimators, Adjusters, and Project Managers after events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property.
-You will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects and sign work for our production teams to complete.
-You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original form.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for restoration and construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment using Xactimate Software.
- Communicate with clients and adjusters the scope and expectations for rebuild.
- Provide support to the project management team during the construction phase.
Summary
The Restoration Estimating Apprentice position requires a strong foundation and a willingness to learn the restoration trade. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and ability to learn and become proficient in Xactimate for accurate estimates.
