Position Summary

The Operations Manager oversees daily operations, financial performance, employee accountability, and customer service. This role is responsible for proactively identifying issues, driving operational improvements, and ensuring consistent execution across all departments and service areas.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor P&L, KPIs, gross margin, billing, commissions, and account performance.
Lead employee performance reviews, coaching, and accountability initiatives.
Support new customer startups, bids, and quotes.
Ensure all customers receive consistent service and attention.
Oversee dispatch, warehouse operations, freight accounts, and remote teams.
Monitor employee schedules, attendance, and overtime.
Ensure audits, reports, and operational tasks are completed on time.
Support extended service areas and special programs.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar role
Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred***
Experience and proficiency with TMS systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong ability to multitask
Comfort working with multiple groups within business
