Duties

Assist with water damage restoration by removing standing water, setting up drying equipment, and cleaning affected areas
Support fire restoration projects through debris removal, surface cleaning, and odor control measures
Perform mold remediation tasks including containment setup, mold removal, and surface cleaning following safety protocols
Use hand tools and power tools to dismantle damaged structures and prepare sites for repairs
Conduct thorough cleaning of properties using carpet cleaning equipment and other sanitation tools
Support asbestos abatement procedures by following safety guidelines and assisting with material removal when trained
Help with general construction activities such as framing, drywall installation, and flooring repairs as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail when performing cleaning tasks or handling hazardous materials like mold or asbestos
Willingness to work in various environments including water-damaged or fire-damaged sites
Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor tasks
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, carpet cleaning equipment, or mold remediation is advantageous but not mandatory
Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
