Join our dynamic construction team as a Skilled Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! The main role is to assist a General Contractor with various tasks on multiple different jobs to ensure smooth workflow for subcontractors. In this energetic role, you will actively participate in building projects by performing a variety of skilled tasks that ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional results while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Duties

Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, delivering supplies, and organizing materials
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support various construction activities
Follow detailed instructions from supervisor to perform tasks such as framing, drywall, installation of sheet metal, wood and metal trim work, window installation, welding etc..
Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during daily operations to protect yourself and team members
Support the installation of structural components, fixtures, and other building elements with precision
Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety hazards immediately

Qualifications

Proven experience as a construction laborer or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or instructions for various tasks
Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions
Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and task completion
Valid driver’s license is a plus; reliable transportation is preferred for site access
Certifications such as OSHA safety training are advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
Self motivated and has the ability to complete tasks without daily direct supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
