Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and more. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to restoration and remodeling, utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques. Duties

Perform a variety of construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, concrete forming and finishing, masonry, roofing, and tile laying
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
Install doors, cabinets, trim carpentry, , caulking, and other finishing elements
Conduct construction inspection to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Manage demolition or restoration work as needed for remodeling or repair projects
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase

Skills

Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools
Skilled in various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete forming, finishing), roofing, plumbing (fixture installation), electrical (basic wiring), plastering, fabrication, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinet installation, restoration work, drywall finishing (construction painting), caulking and sealing (caulking), masonry work (masonry), remodeling projects
Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately
Experience with construction site safety protocols and inspection procedures
Knowledge of construction materials including concrete, plastering compounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
