Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee Commercial and Residential construction projects from start to finish. This vital role involves managing on-site operations, supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities, managing crews to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within scope.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe job site for all personnel.
- Oversee quality control measures, conduct inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet project standards.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating to stay within financial targets.
- Lead team management efforts by supervising crew members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure adherence to all construction regulations and safety protocols while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills
- Experience with ProCore, Bluebeam and other construction management tools a plus.
- Proven ability in managing teams in a construction management role with strong supervisory skills.
- Deep understanding of construction safety management practices aligned with OSHA and federal regulations.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for accurate project execution.
- Experience in construction estimating, budgeting, project scheduling, and quality control processes.
- Excellent managerial communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Knowledge of construction regulations related to safety standards and environmental compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.
