Certified Forklift Operator – Nationwide Disaster Relief Deployment

Recruiting Atlanta-area candidates for nationwide deployment. Travel is required; this posting does not represent a confirmed Atlanta work assignment.
Strategic Partner Solutions (SPS) is recruiting experienced forklift operators with certification or documented prior training who are ready to travel nationwide and mobilize on short notice for disaster-response logistics assignments.
Help load, unload, and move disaster-relief supplies at staging yards and cross-dock locations.
CURRENT STORM RESPONSE PREPARATION
SPS is preparing its deployment roster ahead of Hurricane Isaias, which is currently forecast to approach the northern Gulf Coast late Friday, October 9, into early Saturday, October 10. Potential response areas include coastal Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
Deployment is subject to activation and selection. The storm’s track may change, and assignment locations will be confirmed before acceptance. Candidates must remain available for nationwide travel.
PAY & SCHEDULE
- Pay up to $32/hour, depending on assignment and location.
- The same hourly rate applies to day and night shifts within each assignment.
- Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the assigned hourly rate after 40 hours in a workweek—$48/hour for assignments paying $32/hour.
- Planned 12-hour day and night shifts. Each employee will be assigned to one shift.
- Work may be scheduled up to 7 days a week.
- Longer assignments may transition to 8-hour shifts.
- Must be available for extended hours, nights, weekends, and assignments lasting several weeks.
- Final pay, schedule, and expected assignment duration will be confirmed before you accept an assignment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Forklift operating experience and certification or documented prior training.
- Complete required equipment and site evaluations before operating.
- Ready to travel nationwide on short notice.
- Reliable transportation and dependable phone communication.
- Ability to work safely around equipment and in changing weather conditions.
- Complete required background screening, drug testing, and onboarding.

DEPLOYMENT DETAILS

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
