Become a Windstar's National Motorcoach Operator and work some of the biggest transportation events in America. We'll cover your flights, hotels, and travel expenses while you support airports, sporting events, festivals, emergency operations, and new contract startups.
Schedule
Windstar's National Motorcoach Operators work a rotating schedule of:
23 Days Working / 7 Consecutive Days Off
National Motorcoach Operators follow a rotating schedule of 23 consecutive days on assignment followed by 7 consecutive days off. Additional work opportunities may be available, allowing drivers to extend their rotation up to 30 consecutive days, provided they remain fully compliant with all applicable FMCSA Hours-of-Service regulations and company safety policies. After a 30-day rotation, drivers receive a mandatory 7-day off-duty period before beginning their next assignment. Will be determined by the scope of work.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Windstar National Motorcoach Operator, you'll travel throughout the United States supporting a variety of transportation operations, including:
- FIFA World Cup transportation
- Airport shuttle operations
- Construction shuttle contracts
- State fairs and festivals
- Corporate transportation
- Emergency transportation assignments
- New contract startups
- Disaster relief and emergency response
- Special event transportation
No two assignments are the same. One month you may be transporting thousands of passengers at a major sporting event, and the next you may be supporting one of the country's largest construction or infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B
- Passenger Endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel nationwide
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Compensation
Windstar National Motorcoach Operators are compensated under the Windstar Lines driver pay package.
Full-Time Compensation
- $23.00/hour on day trips
- $230.00/day on overnight trips
- $45.00 per night non-taxable per diem for hotel stays
- Up to $3.00/hour Quarterly Performance Incentive based on Samsara Safety Score
- $500 Monthly Completion Bonus for completing every scheduled National Flex Team assignment during the month.
