About the Role
We’re looking for a Game Project Manager to keep our game development projects on
track and our external partnerships running smoothly. You will be the single point of
contact between our internal game teams and all external partners — ensuring platform
certifications, payment channels, and game content deliveries ship on time and work
reliably.
You’ll report to the Senior Product Operations Manager and collaborate daily with
product managers and engineering leads across our US and offshore teams.
What You’ll Own
EXTERNAL PARTNER MANAGEMENT
Serve as the sole project interface for all external partnerships — platform
operators, payment channels, and compliance interfaces
Own the integration lifecycle end to end: requirements → technical spec →
development → joint testing → go-live
Translate partner API docs and certification requirements into well-specified
requirement documents with clear acceptance criteria for internal engineers
Manage partner expectations on timelines and scope; escalate early when
commitments are at risk
Centralize external-facing communication to prevent information asymmetry across
product lines; maintain integration runbooks so knowledge never lives in one
person’s head
INTERNAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT TRACKING
Own project plans for assigned game titles and integration projects — milestones,
scope, dependencies, and release schedules
Run the delivery cadence: sprint tracking with engineering teams, milestone
reviews, build acceptance, and release readiness checks
Track scope, schedule, and quality risks; surface slips early and force explicit trade-
off calls when scope changes
Align engineering leads and product managers on requirements before Sprint
Planning to eliminate ambiguity
Surface dependencies, blockers, and capacity needs through regular cross-team
reviews
What We’re Looking For
MUST-HAVE
3+ years as a Project Manager, Technical Game Producer, or similar delivery-
focused role in a software or game studio
Hands-on experience coordinating with external partners — third-party vendors,
platform integrators, payment providers, or similar
Can read technical designs, decompose them into actionable engineering tasks,
and challenge estimates constructively
Proficient in JIRA and Confluence (sprint boards, backlog management,
requirement documentation)
Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) — reading, writing, and verbal; all internal
documentation and communication are conducted in Chinese
Strong written communication — you write clear requirement documents with
unambiguous acceptance criteria, and partner-facing updates that need no follow-up
questions
