MAC Precision Concrete is a rapidly growing specialty concrete contractor serving the power, renewable energy, utility, and data center industries throughout the United States. We specialize in concrete foundations, substations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transmission and distribution infrastructure, drilled foundations, and other complex civil concrete projects.
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing concrete construction projects from mobilization through completion. This position works closely with owners, general contractors, field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within the established project budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concrete construction projects across various states.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and work plans.
- Execute projects safely, efficiently, and within the rough project budget provided.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to coordinate daily field operations.
- Ensure crews have the labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor support needed to maintain production.
- Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress, support field leadership, and resolve issues.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for clients, construction managers, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular project updates and communicate schedule, cost, or field concerns promptly.
- Coordinate material orders, deliveries, equipment needs, and resource planning.
- Track project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change order requests for management review.
- Promote and enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and client-specific safety standards.
- Support inspections, testing, quality control documentation, and closeout requirements.
- Verify work is completed according to project specifications and company quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in concrete construction, heavy civil, utility, industrial, or commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and field operations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience managing schedules, crews, materials, and field production.
- Ability to monitor work against an established project budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with substations, BESS, transmission, renewable energy, or data center projects.
- Experience with drilled foundations, concrete pads, equipment foundations, and mass concrete.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Raken, or similar construction software.
- Knowledge of ACI, OSHA, and quality control requirements.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
