Job Summary:
As a Restoration Technician, you will take part in helping clients recover from unexpected damages! In this role, you will be on the front lines of restoring homes and businesses affected by fire, water, mold, or other disasters. Your hands-on expertise will ensure that properties are returned to their original condition efficiently, making every type of property damage “Like it never even happened®!”. Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to be on-call on a rotation basis to respond to emergency water damages (before or after regular business hours)
- Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
- Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
- Operate equipment for water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to prevent further damage
- Document all work performed accurately and communicate progress with team members and clients effectively
- Assist with construction activities related to restoration projects, including minor repairs and rebuilds
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields is highly preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is a plus
