About Cumulus
Cumulus is a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures critical construction and maintenance activities are done right the first time, every time. By integrating AI-powered workflows and connected IoT devices, the Cumulus QMS improves the productivity and quality of critical work, such as bolt tightening, welding, and pressure testing.
To date, Cumulus has been used to manage over 15,000,000 work completions across industries such as energy, construction, manufacturing, semiconductors, data centers, transportation, chemicals, renewables, and more. In addition to improving safety and sustainability, our technology also has been proven to reduce costs for quality control and data review by over 60%.
Cumulus’s transformative technology has been widely recognized in the industry, including the following awards and honors:

The Field Solutions Engineer (FSS) is the on-the-ground technical expert responsible for driving successful adoption and daily operational execution of Cumulus at active customer job sites. This role requires the exercise of independent judgment and discretion to assess site conditions, diagnose adoption failures, and determine the appropriate technical or operational response without day-to-day direction. This role embeds directly within customer environments to ensure workflows are followed correctly, contractors are trained and supported, data remains accurate, and issues are resolved quickly before they become project risks.

Training & Contractor Enablement
- Deliver structured training to installers, foremen, QC managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Adapt training style to varying skill levels, languages, and trade backgrounds.
- Conduct refresher or replacement training when new crews arrive or workflows change.

- Provide insights on contractor adoption, project risks, and operational bottlenecks.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for site leadership regarding workflow expectations and best practices.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers to maintain schedule alignment and mitigate risks.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related discipline), or equivalent experience in a technical field operations or construction technology role in lieu of degree.
