Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for directing and managing all construction activities on new construction homes. This position requires daily site visits, coordination with subcontractors and vendors, and communication with ownership regarding project progress.

Responsibilities

Manage residential construction projects from permit to closing
Help with estimating and selections
Schedule and oversee both rough and finish construction
Supervise job sites and manage subcontractors and hourly labor
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
Maintain organized project schedules and timelines
Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to ownership
Maintain a professional attitude and represent the company well on job sites

Qualifications

Experience as a Construction Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar role
Experience managing residential renovation or new construction projects
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and Google Sheets)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing ground-up residential construction
Spanish bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Experience supervising 50+ residential projects preferred

Compensation

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Performance bonuses based on projects completed
Mileage reimbursement or truck allowance
W2 Positiion with health insurance reimbursement

Work Location

Projects located throughout the Greater Richmond area.
