What You’ll Do
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for scheduling, tracking, and maintaining shipments nationwide. You’ll communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure loads are delivered on time, in full, and at the correct temperature, keeping the cold chain running without disruption.
Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate frequently with drivers, shippers, receivers, and customers via phone and email
- Schedule appointments to ensure pickups and deliveries meet customer expectations
- Track shipments throughout the load lifecycle and follow check call procedures (on time, in full, correct temperature)
- Provide shipment updates to Account Managers and customers
- Collaborate with Carrier Sales and Fleet teams to adjust schedules and ensure coverage
- Support Account Managers with data generation and reporting
- Accurately input and maintain shipment data in company systems
- Proactively resolve minor issues and escalate major ones to Account Managers
- Assist operations with a variety of tasks to support daily execution
- Provide weekend coverage on a rotational basis
Qualifications
· Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
· Clear and professional communication skills (phone, email, written)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics-related software
· Positive, solution-oriented attitude
· Prior logistics or transportation industry experience preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
· Bilingual a plus
