We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need. Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance
- Administer injections and medications as necessary
- Perform patient assessments and triage to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses
- Provide advance life support and perform CPR when needed
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring their condition
- Communicate with medical professionals and relay important patient information
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment provided
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring patients as required
- Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of medical equipment and supplies
Skills:
- Experience administering injections and medications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient in basic life support techniques
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Critical thinking skills to quickly assess patient needs and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical professionals
- Drive and determination to provide the highest level of care to every patient
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) used in emergency situations
- Triage experience to prioritize patient care based on severity
Paramedic Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or general educations degree (GED)
- Must be able to communicate and understand English verbally and in writing
- Licenses and Certifications (must be valid, current and/or in good standing)
- Valid Driver’s License
- EMT-P
- CPR (AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider or ARC CPR for Professional Rescuers)
- EVOC
