We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with proven experience managing industrial mechanical projects including Stainless Steel Food grade tubing (304 & 316) millwright/rigging, process piping, utility piping, and structural steel. The work location for this position will be based on assignment to a project location.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience in:
- Assisting with the planning, execution, and successful completion of industrial construction and mechanical projects.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, labor resources, subcontractors, and material procurement.
- Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction blueprints.
- Coordinating stainless steel process piping installations in food and beverage manufacturing environments.
- Supporting millwright activities, equipment setting, alignment, rigging, and equipment installation.
- Tracking project costs, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Maintaining strong communication with clients, project managers, field supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Conducting site walks, progress meetings, and project status reporting.
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial construction environment.
- Supporting project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final reporting.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in industrial construction, mechanical contracting, or project management.
- Experience in food and beverage manufacturing facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of stainless steel sanitary piping systems (304 & 316 SS).
- Strong understanding of process piping, utility piping, structural steel, and mechanical installations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and work at various project locations as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Work Remotely
**Upon hiring, this position will undergo a 3-month trial period, after which you will become eligible for our employee benefits.
