ACC Heavy Duty (ACC HD), founded in 1983, is a recognized leader in OEM grade and aftermarket components for the heavy truck, trailer, and RV industries. Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain /Operations Manager to lead Purchasing, Planning, Distribution, Logistics and Customer Care departments. As a smaller organization, this role is ideal for someone with broad Supply Chain experience that can drive continuous across multiple disciplines while driving best in class execution levels. This role will be critical in helping us scale into a World Class organization.
This is an on-site role and relocation is not offered for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end to end supply chain operations including Purchasing, Planning, Distribution, Logistics and Customer Care departments.
• Manage Supplier Performance for our global supplier community with a heavy concentration in APAC. Aspects of supplier performance management, sourcing and procurement will be supported by our resources in Shanghai along with significant corporate oversight.
• Provide leadership to a team of two direct reports, fostering development, collaboration, and accountability.
• Integrate demand planning into effective supply planning that results in both World Class On-Time Delivery along with achieving inventory and working capital objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts with emphasis on driving operational improvements in SQDCI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs (Materials, DL, IDL and Services) and Inventory.
• Execute existing transformation projects while continuing to identify future improvement initiatives.
• Enhance Customer service and satisfaction so that ACC is and remains a supplier of choice with our customers.
• Lead business systems initiatives for the supply chain functions while partnering with center led Business Systems and IT organization.
• Prepare and present performance metrics, corrective actions, and continuous improvement plans to Executive team.
• Support Product Line expansion, customer expansion and all other growth focused initiatives
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Management or other relevant fields.
• Minimum of 8+ years of supply chain/operations management experience across multiple disciplines.
• Strong preference for APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc).
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to elevate the team and function.
• Dynamic experience in manufacturing, operations, warehouse management, or distribution.
• Proven ability to operate in a small business, fast-paced, multi hat environment.
• Strong customer facing mindset and communication skills.
• Experience with supply and demand planning, supplier management, logistics, and inventory optimization.
• Demonstrated results across KPI’s and financial performance.
• Experience with global supplier network.
• Highly skilled in managing a Make/Purchase to stock environment in which there are long supplier lead times and short customer lead times.
Preferred
• Automotive or Heavy-Duty truck manufacturing experience.
• Experience in both OEM/OES and Aftermarket channels.
• Experience managing a predominantly APAC oriented supply base.
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc).
• Multi-national and multi-cultural business background.
• Fluent in Mandarin is beneficial but not required.
