Carpenter / Framer / Siding Installer

Location: Asheville, NC
Reports to: Construction Manager / Site Supervisor
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to job sites and company locations as needed. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for supporting residential and commercial modular construction projects through framing, siding installation, trim work, deck construction, and general carpentry. The ideal candidate is a skilled carpenter with strong hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to help lead and mentor less experienced crew members on job sites.

This includes:

Framing exterior walls, roof decks, stairs, and structural components
Installing Hardie board, LP siding, lap siding, exterior trim, and finish materials
Building and repairing decks
Installing interior trim, doors, and baseboards
Assisting with punch list completion and overall project quality

Key Responsibilities

Perform framing and general carpentry work on residential and commercial projects
Install siding, trim, doors, baseboards, and related finish materials
Build and repair decks and exterior structures
Read and follow construction plans, measurements, and project specifications
Maintain organized and safe job sites
Assist with project workflow and job site coordination
Lead and mentor junior crew members as needed
Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout projects
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Follow company safety standards and procedures
