Logistics Manager
SEC is seeking a Logistics Manager that will be responsible for leading and developing the logistics team while overseeing all aspects of production planning, scheduling, materials management, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and customer logistics operations. This role drives efficient logistics processes, establishes work instructions, coordinates imports and exports, manages logistics projects, and partners with customers to support logistics requirements and delivery performance. The Logistics Manager will monitor inventory levels, implement corrective actions when necessary, support annual material planning and forecasting efforts, and work closely with plant leadership to establish and achieve logistics objectives. Additionally, this position promotes continuous improvement initiatives, supports cross-functional projects, maintains 5S standards throughout logistics operations, and ensures the team is equipped to meet customer demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all functions within the Logistics department, providing direction, support, and development to team members.
- Organize, optimize, and maintain an efficient supply chain to ensure the timely flow of materials and on-time delivery to customers.
- Utilize and continuously improve ERP system processes to support logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain consistent and effective inventory control and material planning processes across all logistics areas.
- Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy while driving initiatives to improve inventory performance and reduce shortages or excess stock.
- Plan, manage, and control departmental budgets and logistics-related costs to support operational and financial objectives.
- Ensure compliance with 5S standards through workplace organization, housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote and maintain work safety, environmental protection, and operational excellence within all logistics activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance logistics performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Academic degree in technical or administrative area with technical understanding
- Five years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Knowledge
- Customs and Contract Law
- Legal requirements in the field of Logistics
