Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscape Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with the installation and construction of outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements. Your energy and hands-on skills will contribute to creating durable, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces that meet project specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while working on diverse projects that transform landscapes into functional works of art.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including excavation, grading, and layout using blueprint reading and schematics.
Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently to install hardscape features.
Lay bricks, pavers, stone, concrete forms, and other masonry materials with precision to ensure quality craftsmanship.
Mix and pour concrete for foundations, slabs, or retaining walls following specified measurements and standards.
Perform demolition, restoration, and surface finishing tasks such as concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, and painting as needed.
Support the installation of plumbing, electrical components or other systems integrated into outdoor structures when required.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on-site.

Requirements

Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
Familiarity with masonry techniques such as concrete forming, tile laying, stucco application, and masonry repair.
Basic understanding of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes.
Ability to read technical drawings related to hardscape installations like patios or retaining walls.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction site work including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
