Position Summary
The Restoration Technician performs emergency mitigation, demolition, cleaning, drying, reconstruction, and environmental remediation services for residential and commercial clients. This position works closely with Project Managers, Crew Leaders, and other field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

- Water damage restoration

- Fire and smoke restoration
- Demolition and reconstruction
- Flooring installation and repair
- General construction or remodeling
- Equipment operation and job site setup
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction, demolition, debris removal, and structural drying.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and air scrubbers.
- Assist with mold remediation, asbestos abatement, fire restoration, and environmental projects.
- Install, repair, tape, texture, and finish drywall as needed.
- Perform demolition and reconstruction activities.
- Maintain containment areas and follow all safety procedures.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records.
- Load, unload, clean, and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours and weekend work when necessary.
- Provide professional customer service while working in occupied homes and businesses.
Qualifications
- Construction, restoration, remediation, or related field experience preferred.
- Drywall and taping experience strongly preferred.
- Asbestos abatement experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work in hot, humid, dusty, and confined environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
- IICRC WRT, ASD, AMRT, or related certifications
- Asbestos Abatement Certification
- EPA Lead Renovator (RRP)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- First Aid / CPR
