Job Description
Seeking an empathetic, hard-working Lead Mitigation Technician to assist our clients who have encountered man-made and natural disasters and help get their lives back to normal. This role performs the same hands-on mitigation work as a Mitigation Technician, while also serving as the on-site leader and point of guidance for the mitigation team.
You’ll be responsible for assessing homes for damages, determining what can be salvaged and what needs to be disposed of, removal and cleaning of affected areas, completing the drying process in accordance with IICRC guidelines, and providing excellent customer service from start to finish. In addition, the Lead Mitigation Technician ensures technicians are following proper procedures, work is completed to company standards, and job progress aligns with company goals.

Responsibilities
Assess property damage caused by fire, water, mold, and weather-related disasters
Execute all water mitigation and extraction services
Decontaminate and deodorize indoor spaces
Monitor and complete the drying process in accordance with IICRC guidelines
Perform detailed cleaning of structure and contents
Lead and support mitigation technicians on job sites
Ensure technicians follow proper procedures and safety guidelines
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for mitigation jobs
Communicate job progress, concerns, and needs with management and office personnel
Document all work accurately in software applications
Provide excellent customer service that translates into positive online reviews
Assist in ensuring team productivity and job performance goals are met
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
1+ years of experience in Mitigation (required)
Prior leadership or lead technician experience preferred

Comfortable working in the field, in all types of weather and environments
Ability to stand for an entire shift
Strong communication, listening, teamwork, and leadership skills
Comfortable using power and hand tools
Available for after-hours on-call schedule
