Our client in FS is seeking a Project Manager to support large-scale infrastructure programs by driving governance, coordination, and portfolio-level project management activities across multiple technology and infrastructure domains.
This position is focused on project intake, initiation, dependency management, risk oversight, and executive reporting, ensuring initiatives are delivered in alignment with established governance frameworks, documentation standards, and organizational objectives. Rather than managing day-to-day project execution, the role serves as a central point of coordination and oversight within the Infrastructure PMO.
Portfolio Governance & Operational Excellence
- Consolidate project data across multiple initiatives and workstreams to provide portfolio-level visibility into execution progress, resource utilization, financial performance, and delivery risks.
- Develop and maintain executive-facing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI to improve transparency, decision-making, and portfolio reporting.
- Establish and manage governance processes that enhance project budget oversight, financial accountability, forecasting accuracy, and funding visibility across the portfolio.
- Drive the operationalization and adoption of standardized project management artifacts, logs, and governance frameworks to improve consistency and reporting accuracy.
Process Improvement & PMO Maturity
- Facilitate recurring process improvement workshops with project teams and stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and strengthen delivery practices.
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of PMO and governance enhancement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement efforts are tracked through implementation and adoption.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality, and reduce administrative overhead through standardized processes and tooling.
Governance, Controls & Audit Readiness
- Own the maintenance and continuous improvement of project governance logs, ensuring risks, issues, actions, decisions, and dependencies are accurately captured and actively managed.
- Partner with internal audit, compliance, finance, and leadership teams to support audit controls, documentation requirements, and governance reviews.
