About Us
Wi Development Corp is a residential construction company based in Bay Shore, NY, specializing in high-end custom home renovations. Most of our work is on the South Shore, with occasional projects on the North Shore and the Hamptons. We take pride in the quality of our work and the relationships we build with our clients. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our team with people who share that same commitment to doing the job right.
Job Description
You'll run the day-to-day on active residential job sites — directing the crew, managing subs while they're on site, keeping quality where it needs to be, and making sure the work keeps moving. You'll report directly to the owner, who manages clients, contracts, scheduling, and project direction.
Day to day, that looks like:
- Running the crew — assignments, sequencing, pace, and quality every single day
- Managing subcontractors on site and holding them to scope, schedule, and the standard we've set
- Keeping jobs on track with the schedule and flagging anything that could cause a delay before it does
- Logging daily field reports in Ressio — who was there, what got done, any issues, photos
- Inspecting material deliveries and documenting what you accept or reject
- Coordinating town inspections and having the site ready when the inspector shows up
- Managing punch lists and walkthroughs to a high-end finish standard
- Keeping the site clean and organized — staging, dumpsters, parking, neighbors
- Communicating clearly with the owner so nothing falls through the cracks
What We're Looking For
Someone who takes the field seriously, leads without being loud about it, and catches problems before they turn into rework. The experience matters, but so does how you carry yourself on site.
- Fluent in Spanish — this is non-negotiable. Most conversations on site happen in Spanish
- 5+ years of residential construction experience, with at least 2 years leading or supervising a crew
- Able to read plans confidently — pull dimensions, catch conflicts between drawings and field conditions, and reference them in real time
- An eye for high-end finish work — you know the difference between passable and right
- Comfortable with construction management software; we use Ressio
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Calm when things go sideways — and things always go sideways on site
- You see problems coming a few days out and get ahead of them instead of reacting
- You hold people to a high standard without making it personal
- Honest — you tell the owner what actually happened, not what sounds good
- The crew respects you because of how you carry yourself, not because of your title
Pay & Benefits
- $80,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
- Direct access to the owner — no corporate layers, no red tape
- Room to grow within the company as we expand
Our Core Values
A few things that matter to us and that we look for in the people we hire:
Integrity & Honesty
We do what we say we're going to do. That goes for how we treat clients, subs, and each other.
Excellence
We care about the quality of the work, not just the end result. The standard shows up in the details along the way.
Community
These are people's homes. We take that seriously and want every project to leave the home and neighborhood better than we found it.
Family
We want the people on this team to grow — in their skills, their career, and as people. We're a small company and we pay attention to who's here.
