Position Summary
• Serve as point of contact for customer inquiries regarding pricing, order status, product availability, and lead times.
• Prepare and distribute quotes, proposals, and sales contracts in supp rt of the sales team.
• Maintain accurate sales data in the CRM system to support the generation of weekly and monthly reports on pipeline activity, order volumes and account performance.
• Monitor sales opportunities online and feed these to Sales Manager and VP for further action. Provide estimating team support regarding product specifications.
• Coordinate trade show materials and logistics, including securing booth space, transportation of presentation materials and promotional items.
• Actively participate in sales trade shows -- meet and greet potential clients, answer product questions and support our sales brand publicly.
• Respond to contractor inquiries (either written or verbally) related to sales process and estimates. Be point of contact for incoming queries.
• Provide administrative support as needed for the efficient and effectiv operation of the Eau Claire office operations.
• Answer incoming calls to site and forward them to appropriate parties.
• Support the Executive leadership team as needed.
-Skills Needed
• Associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Prefer 2+ years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or inside sales role; experience in steel, metals, or manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with CRM Platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first att tude.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
