Project Manager Lead - Technology & Cyber Governance

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Project Manager to drive a major Technology and Cybersecurity transformation and governance initiative for a large, growing organization.
This role will lead planning, coordination, tracking, and executive reporting across Cyber and IT workstreams. You will play a critical role in strengthening controls, documentation, and operational readiness to meet enhanced regulatory and enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the integrated program plan across Technology and Cybersecurity, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and comprehensive status reporting.
- Partner with existing PMs and stakeholders to coordinate and drive remediation activities related to cybersecurity, identity & access management (IAM), IT general controls (ITGC), infrastructure, data protection, and operational readiness.
- Establish and maintain centralized program governance, including workplans, action tracking, stakeholder communications, and executive dashboards.
- Drive accountability across multiple workstreams by tracking progress, surfacing blockers, escalating risks, and ensuring clear ownership of deliverables.
- Prepare concise, high-impact executive updates and reporting for senior leadership on program status, critical risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
- Support organization and documentation efforts needed for strengthened compliance and control environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party advisors to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience in complex, cross-functional Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, or transformation environments.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and executive-level visibility.
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices, including planning, governance, risk/issue management, and status reporting.
- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory topics into clear, executive-ready communications.
- Excellent facilitation, organization, stakeholder management, and follow-through skills.
- Hands-on experience with project management and reporting tools such as Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, or similar) is a strong plus.
