Position Summary:
We are seeking a well-rounded Commercial Carpenter with hands-on experience in commercial construction. This individual should have the skills, knowledge, and versatility to handle a wide range of carpentry tasks across all phases of a project, and to assist with additional duties as jobsite needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Install framing, doors, hardware, trim, casework, and other carpentry components
- Assist with general construction tasks as needed to keep projects on schedule
- Work collaboratively with superintendents, subcontractors, and other crew members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
Qualifications:
- Commercial construction experience required
- Proficiency in a variety of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read and understand construction documents
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 not required, but would be a plus
