This individual will perform a vital role in executing retail customer processes and requirements, all while working cross functionally with our internal teams. It is a position focused on keeping our programs moving forward and our customers happy. You will have an opportunity to grow into roles on the account team or other areas of the business.

Responsibilities
- Read and understand the respective customer vendor guides; execute accordingly by working with both internal and external teams
- Complete both new vendor set up forms and customer item set up forms as required
- Order appropriate customer labels when necessary (item, inner/master carton, pallet, etc.)
- Work in customer portals to share critical information and details about products and programs
- Monitor and study customer item sell through reports and share relevant findings with internal team
- Enter all customer purchase orders into our accounting system and update the system accordingly when PO revisions are communicated
- Manage and update tracking grids and other customer facing materials
- Organize and track finished goods and/or sample inventory for customer needs and internal archives
- Work cross-functionally with the Product Management team and QA Manager on all orders to understandtiming and action plans, track process flow, participate in sample reviews (as necessary), and help to deliver finished goods at the quality leveldesired, within budget, and on time
- Work cross functionally with our design team to update certain product specs and materials needed for customers and suppliers, when necessary
- Team up with Staff Accounting to process all necessary paperwork required for customer invoicing and customs clearance
- Partner with the Warehouse/Logistics Manager to create action plans on fulfillment and/or assembly/co-packing projects for customers. Review all shipping and handling plans/quotes to ensure deliveries execute as expected.
- Participate in creating best practices and process improvement in account coordinationcapacity
- Collaborate with both the customer and their approved EDI vendors to execute on set up and testing, then regulate document data flow as required
- Deliver pertinent communication to our independent sales representatives as directed by business development
- Track and alert the team on relevant customer online product reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Basic understanding of vendor/customer relationship development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- A creative and flexible approach to work on multiple projects and clients at one time
- Strong interpersonal skills: able to effectively communicate with both suppliers and customers to problem-solve and move the process forward
