Sr. Director, Infrastructure & Operations
Los Angeles area (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with an organization undergoing a large-scale infrastructure and operational modernization initiative and are looking for a senior infrastructure leader to help drive that transformation. This role will oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, systems operations, workplace technologies, and service delivery across a complex global environment. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on — someone comfortable leading teams while also driving modernization, automation, and operational engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead infrastructure strategy, operations, and modernization initiatives
• Drive cloud adoption, automation, resiliency, and scalability efforts
• Oversee enterprise infrastructure including cloud, networking, systems, storage, and end-user technologies
• Establish and improve operational processes, service delivery, and incident management practices
• Champion Infrastructure as Code, automation-first operations, and modern engineering standards
• Partner closely with security leadership to maintain secure and compliant environments
• Manage and mentor infrastructure and operations teams across multiple disciplines
• Oversee vendor relationships, operational budgets, and infrastructure roadmaps
What They’re Looking For
• Deep enterprise infrastructure and cloud experience
• Strong background leading infrastructure and operations organizations within complex environments
• Experience modernizing legacy environments and improving operational maturity
• Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, Git/version control workflows, and modern infrastructure practices
• Strong understanding of networking, systems, cloud platforms, disaster recovery, and IT operations
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining close to execution and technical decision-making
• Strong communication skills and executive presence
