Job Title: Project & Operations Lead (Integrator-Level)
Company: Redwood Resources
Location: Remote (Los Angeles-based preferred)
Type: Part-Time (30+ hrs/week) → Full-Time
Role Summary
Redwood Resources is seeking a Project & Operations Lead to fully own day-to-day operations across projects, team execution, and internal systems. This role is responsible for translating strategy into execution and ensuring the business runs efficiently without daily founder involvement.
You will act as the operational leader of the company.
Core Outcomes (First 90–180 Days)
- Founder is removed from daily project management and internal coordination
- All projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope
- Clear, consistent reporting across all projects (status, risks, budget variance)
- Team members are accountable, responsive, and meeting expectations
- SOPs, workflows, and systems are fully documented and actively used
- Budget tracking and invoicing alignment is accurate across all projects
Key Responsibilities
- Own execution across all client projects (timelines, deliverables, hour budgets)
- Manage and hold team accountable (coordinators, subs)
- Run weekly operations meetings and project reviews
- Track hour utilization performance at the project level (hours)
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions
- Build, refine, and enforce systems (Asana, reporting, SOPs, tracking tools)
- Serve as primary internal point of contact for all operational matters
- Support proposal execution and resource planning as needed
Decision Authority
- Prioritize and allocate team resources across projects
- Adjust workflows and systems to improve efficiency
- Escalate only high-risk or strategic decisions to the founder
Required Capabilities
- 7+ years of experience in project management, operations, or consulting delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with budgets and deadlines
- Strong operational discipline (budget tracking, utilization)
- Experience managing teams and enforcing accountability
- High ownership mindset with minimal need for oversight
- Strong systems thinker (process design, workflow optimization)
- Clear, direct communicator
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with public agencies or consulting firms
- Background in outreach, workforce development, or program management
- Experience in a small, scaling business environment

Compensation
- Hourly: $35–$45/hour
- Potential transition to a full-time role;
