POSITION TILE TITLE: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
PAY: 80-90K
SCHEDULE: [Required Sundays] Monday - Friday
LOCATION: EAST MEM
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
- Oversee transportation and driver operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment while enforcing OSHA and company safety standards
- Monitor inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency within a non-racked warehouse environment
- Hire, train, coach, and develop employees to support operational success and team growth
- Address employee performance concerns and promote accountability across the operation
- Implement and maintain SOPs while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Track KPIs, analyze operational performance, and identify opportunities for increased productivity and cost savings
- Manage warehouse budgets and support overall facility performance
- Collaborate with offsite leadership while independently managing day-to-day operations at the local facility
- Remain accessible after hours when business needs require support
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as the senior leader of a small distribution center OR 3+ years leading a department within a multifunctional distribution center
- Experience in warehouse, transportation, and inventory operations preferred; strong experience in at least two areas required
- Proven ability to lead from the floor and support teams in a hands-on environment
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience improving operational performance and implementing SOPs
- Comfortable working independently while reporting to offsite leadership
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning Google-based systems and warehouse technology
- Flexible schedule with the ability to support operations after hours when needed
