Restoration Field Team Manager
Role Overview
The Restoration Field Team Manager is the operational engine of the Best Companies/CRDN division. This role parallels high-end moving and white-glove logistics companies, requiring a leader who views complex restoration as an opportunity for precision inventory management and elite client service. You will manage the secure chain of custody for homeowner belongings—from technical pack-outs and secure storage to meticulous delivery—ensuring every project is handled with the same care as a high-value relocation.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrecision Inventory & Logistics Management
- Expert Pack-Outs: Oversee the inventory, packing, and secure transport of textiles, electronics, furniture, art work, full contents and specialty garments to CRDN standards.
- Chain of Custody: Ensure all field files are completed accurately and homeowner property is bagged and documented with zero-defect precision and photo documentation.
- Storage Excellence: Manage the respectful and organized storage of belongings until they are ready for restoration and delivery back to a restored home or business.
- Operational Optimization: Refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pickups and deliveries to ensure a "perfect stop" every time, maximizing logistical planning and efficiency on the road.
Field Leadership & Culture
- Team Development: Lead and coach the field team using hands over training, review and implementation of SOPs, Passport training and development, focusing on accountability, growth plans, and professional mentoring.

- Professional Representation: Act as the primary technical and empathetic contact for homeowners and insurance professionals during high-stress recovery situations.
Operational Safety & Vehicle Management
- Fleet Oversight: Manage the Netradyne safety program and monitor vehicle usage and preventive maintenance. Schedule maintenance with in house vehicle maintenance team.
- Safety Standards: Ensure all driving operations are conducted in a safe, professional manner that reflects the "Best Companies" brand and policies.
- Station Management: Maintain company vehicles and field workstations in clean, fully stocked with supplies, and "ready-for-deployment" condition.
Performance & Strategy
- KPI Management: Attain weekly, monthly, and quarterly account efficiency goals while maintaining labor costs within target percentages. Ensure detailed documentation and photo documentation at each pack out and management of transport of textiles and full contents safely.
- Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for service menu upselling (e.g., adding electronics restoration to a textile assignment) during site visits.
- Software Proficiency: Manage all team devices and software, including RestoNet, Xactimate uploading, and Restoration Financial Entry.

Employment Details
- Location: Schenectady and/or Syracuse territories.
- Schedule: Typically Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with on-call, overtime, and weekend availability for emergency losses.
