Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Construction Worker to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up safety barriers and organizing materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as framing, roofing, concrete finishing, and masonry
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately
- Support carpentry activities including trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and framing
- Perform tasks related to plumbing and electrical work as needed, following safety protocols
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
- Assist with demolition, restoration, or remodeling projects by handling materials and performing finishing touches like caulking, painting, or tile laying
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or concrete finishing
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate task execution
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus
- Knowledge of construction inspection procedures and safety regulations
- Experience with specialized skills such as glass installation, fabrication, welding, or stucco is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
