For over 70 years, our company has delivered architecturally significant custom homes, complex remodels, and premium residential projects built to exacting standards.
We are now expanding our operations into the Monterey Peninsula, beginning with large-scale remodels and estate-level projects in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
This is a rare opportunity to join an established multi-generational builder at the early stages of our California growth. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the Owner who will be the acting Senior Superintendent to ensure success in the US, help shape our field culture, standards, and long-term team in this region.
We are seeking an experienced Working Carpenter Foreman with strong concrete forming, structural framing and finish capability who can lead crews, maintain quality standards, and execute complex residential scopes with discipline and professionalism.
This is steady, full-time, year-round work on architecturally driven custom homes.
Responsibilities
- Lead small carpentry crews on active high-end residential projects
- Execute structural framing, layout, stairs, and finish carpentry
- Read and interpret full architectural and structural plan sets
- Coordinate daily sequencing with Superintendent and Project Manager
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Identify potential issues before they impact schedule
- Enforce safety and quality standards
- Communicate professionally with architects, consultants, and homeowners
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years residential carpentry experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience required
- Strong concrete forming, wood framing and finish carpentry skills
- Ability to read and execute from full drawing sets
- California code awareness
- Reliable transportation required
- Professional-grade tools required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving ability
- Professional demeanor in client-facing environments
Basic Spanish helpful but not required. Must be physically capable of construction work including lifting 75–100 lbs.
