Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace programs. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting production readiness for complex components in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing and process engineering solutions for aerospace components
- Lead and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FAI (First Article Inspection) activities
- Create and maintain PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate risks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective/preventive actions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 3–8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering / process engineering
- Strong experience with PPAP, FAI, and PFMEA
- Experience working in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace components or engine systems
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings
