Now Hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in Azusa, CA - 11 Month Contract Role (possibility of going perm) - $64/hour

Must have Root Cause Analysis, Injection Molding Experience, and be able to support a high volume manufacturing company.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide daily technical support and leadership to designated product lines, including hands-on root cause analysis, problem-solving, and long-term strategic direction for the product
- Collaborate dynamically with engineering, operations, materials, quality, suppliers, and marketing staff to implement significant improvements in product quality
- Conceive, justify, and plan solutions for complex problems. Implement engineering design changes that improve product function, reduce costs, reduce defects, and improve manufacturing efficiency
- Design, develop, and comply with testing procedures
- Create and revise product models, drawings, and BOM's
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in achieving results in areas of responsibility as described above.
- Working knowledge of injection molded plastic component design
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Aerospace or automotive industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis and GD&T
- Working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, and other quality improvement tools
- Experience in low-cost, high-volume, low-defect manufacturing
- Ability to perform financial analysis and cost justifications
- Knowledge of FEA and CFD
