Position Overview
The Motorsports and Driving Programs Specialist supports the development and execution of Porsche Cars North America’s motorsports marketing and experiential initiatives, with a focus on motorsports, driving programs, and other experiential marketing initiatives. This role plays a key part in delivering premium, high-impact experiences that strengthen Porsche’s brand affinity among target audiences. Responsibilities include supporting flagship programs such as Porsche Motorsport hospitality and Porsche Travel Experience, managing event activations, and overseeing the planning and deployment of brand marketing and motorsports vehicle fleets. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of event execution, experiential marketing insight, and operational excellence, with the ability to manage complex projects while upholding Porsche’s global brand standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of flagship programs such as Motorsports Hospitality Programs, and Porsche Travel Experience
- Assist in the development and execution of brand activations that enhance Porsche’s presence at key lifestyle and driving events
- Collaborate with PAG to support motorsports marketing initiatives in the U.S. market
- Manage end-to-end event logistics including venue coordination, vendor management, registration, staffing, and on-site execution
- Ensure all programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with Porsche brand standards
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and regional stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
- Oversee event agencies and vendors, including catering, transportation, staffing, and production
- Coordinate the planning, allocation, and deployment of brand marketing and motorsports vehicle fleets for various events and programs
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage logistics, transportation, and vehicle readiness
- Develop and manage event budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and invoice reconciliation
- Support procurement processes, including vendor sourcing and competitive bidding in accordance with company guidelines
The salary range for this role is $70 - $80k. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. Porsche reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. Required Qualifications
- An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies
- Passion for automotive, and experiential marketing
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and logistics from concept through execution, ensuring operational excellence at every stage
- Experience coordinating large-scale events, including end-to-end logistics, on-site vendor and agency management, and on-site execution
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale project budgets, forecasting, and external vendor relationships
- Experience supporting fleet or asset logistics a plus, including coordination of transportation, allocation, and readiness of vehicles or key program assets for events
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, Public Relations, and Marketing Communications
- Experience navigating corporate processes such as contracting, purchase orders, and compliance requirements
- Automotive industry experience preferred but not required
- Experience in motorsports or event marketing preferred
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Ability to travel up to 50%, as required
Education
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in experiential marketing and event planning, preferably within motorsports, performance driving, or track-based programs
- Previous Experiential Marketing or Event Planning experience is strongly preferred
