We are seeking an experienced Commercial Glazing Installers, Foreman and Estimators with a minimum of 2 years of commercial experience to join our team. These position requires someone who can assist in developing accurate budgets, manage bid packages, assist on the job, manage the installation teams and collaborate closely with project stakeholders from early design stages through final pricing.
This is not an entry-level role. Applicants must have direct experience with commercial construction projects and working with project teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial glazing projects.
- Assist in the design-build process, working with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop realistic construction budgets.
- Manage aspects of the bid process, including scope definition.
- Review and analyze proposals to ensure complete scope coverage and competitive pricing.
- Help develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining project quality and design intent.
- Maintain organized cost histories.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.
- Installation & Removal of windows, screens, mirrors, shower doors and patio doors, including replacement glass.
- Handle and move large, heavy, and sharp glass units, aluminum frames, and other materials.
- Willing to work outside in all conditions
- Measuring and marking lines or patterns on glass before cutting. Cutting glass to size and specifications in the workshop and on the job site.
- Loading glass or mirror fittings onto trucks for transport to job site. Driving trucks to job sites and unloading glass and materials. Fabricating and installing moldings for glass installation. Cutting and removing broken glass prior to new installation.
Required Experience
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of commercial glazing experience
- Experience on project including but not limited to: Medical / healthcare facilities, Multifamily construction, Luxury commercial projects, Other complex commercial developments
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost structures
- Experience working directly with subcontractors and trade partners
- Ability to manage multiple projects, employees and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Design-build project experience highly preferred
- Experience with contract review or negotiation
- Existing relationships with suppliers
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
