Position Overview
The IT Associate is a key driver in scaling, optimizing, and maintaining Agency EA’s technological backbone. Acting as the primary bridge between technical infrastructure and department needs, you will provide high-quality technical support while managing internal processes and IT resources. This role requires a proactive troubleshooter who can manage a high-volume IT helpdesk and identify long-term improvements to improve our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Helpdesk Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for requests and technical support, resolving tickets related to hardware, software/SaaS platform, and networking to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: Lead the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring employees are correctly provisioned or de-provisioned with necessary hardware, software/platform, and access.
- Incident Response: Respond to IT incidents in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks to minimize business downtime.
- Workstation Management: Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Kandji/Iru) to maintain workstations, enforce configurations, and deploy apps + security policies across a macOS and Windows fleet.
- Network Maintenance: Assist with the development and maintenance of local networks (Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti) to ensure reliable connectivity and optimized speeds.
- Cybersecurity + Data protection: Ensure the security and privacy of network, computer systems, and SaaS platforms in accordance with industry standards and data compliance.
- Documentation: Maintain, develop, and oversee comprehensive documentation for procedural resources (e.g., IT workflows, network maps, systems) to various IT trackers (hardware, platform/software, and licensing, etc)
- Administrative Oversight: Manage vendor orders, build IT training resources, send out company-wide communication, and general IT administrative tasks
- IT Initiatives: Assist with various IT projects throughout the year
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent IT-experience required.
Strong understanding of the following:
- SaaS Platforms: Comprehensive experience with cloud-based productivity suites, primarily Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
- Operating Systems: Mac/Windows OS
- Networking: Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti (e.g., Firewall, Switches, Access Points, Printers, etc)
- Security: Barracuda Email Security, SecureEdge, and SentinelOne
- Cloud Storage: Google Drive, Dropbox, Egnyte, Box, etc
- Video Conferencing Platforms: Google Meets, Zoom, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, etc
- MDM Tools: Iru (formerly known as Kandji)
- IT Standards: Understanding of IT protocol, standards, and best practices (e.g., ITIL, TCP/IP, DNS, NIST, CIS, etc)
Soft Skills: Strong written, oral communication, and organizational skills. Strategic and critical thinker. Must enjoy working and collaborating with teams. Agency experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Salary Range (based on experience): $60,000 - $75,000
