At
ABLE Industrial Products, the IT Systems Specialist is responsible for ensuring our IT systems operate at optimum performance. This role is accountable for the configuration, maintenance, support, and operation of the
Epicor ERP system and related IT infrastructure.
The IT Systems Specialist will protect critical systems and assets, build and implement technology solutions, support new software and hardware deployments, provide end-user training, and assist in developing the company's overall IT strategy. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who can lead initiatives, manage projects, and deliver measurable results while supporting business operations across multiple locations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Epicor ERP Administration
- Complete management and maintenance of the Epicor Vantage ERP system.
- Work with Accounting and Epicor consultants on the setup and implementation of Epicor Multi-Site Company functionality.
- Maintain and update all Epicor-related hardware and system support.
- Clean and prepare the current Epicor database using DMT tools prior to cloud migration, with the goal of a clean and optimized database.
- Lead and support the migration to Epicor Kinetics Cloud.
- Maintain knowledge of all Epicor modules and ensure a minimum 95% software implementation.
- Develop and maintain Epicor policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide complete training for all Epicor users by business entity.
- Secure the network by managing access, monitoring controls, documentation, and evaluations.
- Perform network administration including backup management, security controls, user account management, e-mail systems, web servers, internet access, and office application support.
Systems, Projects & User Support
- Maintain and support production systems including shipping and labeling systems (UPS, FedEx, Datamax).
- Manage small to medium-sized IT projects.
- Support off-site employees' software and training needs, including travel to Mexico and Locust facilities as required.
- Design and conduct user training programs and provide ongoing technical support.
- Protect organizational value by maintaining strict confidentiality of systems and data.
Marketing & Digital Support
- Maintain and update company marketing videos.
- Coordinate email and website campaigns (including eBay store management) and monitor response metrics.
- Optimize and maintain company websites and social media platforms, including monitoring search engine traffic, updating product pricing, and maintaining accurate descriptions.
