Our client is seeking a Research Engineer/Scientist to develop advanced locomotion strategies for legged systems. You will design and deploy control algorithms that enable robots to master complex, unstructured environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Control & Motion: Develop MPC, Whole-Body Control, and RL-based policies for quadrupedal/bipedal gait stability.
- Sim-to-Real: Validate algorithms in high-fidelity physics engines (MuJoCo, Isaac) and transition them to physical hardware.
- State Estimation: Fuse IMU and kinematic data for precise real-time localization.
- Software: Write high-performance C++ and Python code within ROS2 environments.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Robotics or related field.
- Deep expertise in rigid-body dynamics and locomotion.
- Proven experience with real-time embedded systems and mechatronics.
